Sebastián Molina is a Chilean classical guitarist and educator based in New York. He has built a vibrant international career and has performed successfully in Europe, the United States, and several countries in Latin America. Their most recent awards, including The Andrés Segovia/Rose Augustine Award from the Manhattan School of Music, an Honorable Mention at the 2024 Buffalo International Guitar Festival and Competition in Buffalo NY, and University Mayor Alumni Global Award 2025.
He earned a Master of Music degree from The Manhattan School of Music in 2024, under the guidance of renowned guitarist and mentor, David Leisner. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Conservatory of Music of Universidad Mayor in Chile In addition, he completed a degree in Musical Education of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
He has performed at distinguished festivals in the United States, including the Guitar Foundation of America (GFA) International Convention and The Village Trip GuitarFest. In Latin America, his acclaimed performances include the ‘Fred Schneiter Festival’ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; the ‘Encuentro Guitarrístico de Choroní’ in Venezuela; ‘Latinoamérica de Concierto’ in Bogotá, Colombia; ‘Sonamos Latinoamérica’ with editions in Mexico, Peru, and Argentina; and the ‘Festival Entrecuerdas’ in Chile.
Sebastián has released two independent albums. His debut solo guitar recording, Recital al Sur and his second album titled El Lado Violeta de una Conquista, was produced with his duet Encuentro de Dos Mundos, formed with his wife, the distinguished mezzo- soprano Belem Abraham.

Mezzo-soprano Belem Abraham and classical guitarist Sebastián Molina are Chilean artists who bring the Encuentro de Dos Mundos Duo together. They have been based in New York since 2022.Since their founding in 2011, they have toured extensively and performed at major festivals in their home country, as well as abroad in countries such as Italy, the United States, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, and Chile. The duo‘s name reflects their versatility, a quality that a allows them to interpret a variety of music, from classical to Latin American roots music. Recent appearances (2025) include their performance at the Second Members' Concert of the Brooklyn Classical Guitar Society, the MAD Institute Spring Concert in Manhattan, and a recital at the MAVI UC Museum of Visual Arts in Santiago, Chile. They have an independent album titled "The Violet Side of a Conquest," a collection of Chilean and Spanish songs.
Belem Abraham holds a Cum Laude Degree in Music and Opera Singing from the Music Institute of Alberto Hurtado University in Santiago-Chile. She furthered her training at the Manhattan Opera Studio program in New York.
She has performed in operas and as a solo mezzo-soprano in Chile and the United States. In 2017, she was a semifinalist in the Cita D'Álcamo international competition in Sicily, Italy. She has participated in two albums: the first, with her duo Encuentro de Dos Mundos (2013), and in the second Chilean opera album, conducted by his maestro Gonzalo Cuadra (2019) entitled "Al rumor de la Batalla". Belem makes the first recording and world premiere of the aria "Ya me choke la ashes" from the "Cinderella" by composer Pedro Humberto Allende. She has participated in concerts in Richard Wagner's opera Die Walküre in the role of Waltraute, conducted by Benoit Renard, in Manhattan. Her solo performances include appearances at the National Opera Center and Carnegie Hall.
