Our mission is to nourish and build the classical guitar community in Brooklyn and the greater NYC area through open mics, concerts with locally and internationally known guitarists, masterclasses and workshops, and social events.

The BKCGS is an LLC with fiscal sponsorship from the Groupmuse Foundation. Groupmuse Foundation is a parallel nonprofit to Groupmuse, that supports initiatives that support musicians directly. Through this partnership, The BKCGS functions as a non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
