Join guitarist and composer Tomas Rodriguez for the album release concert of Whispered Awakening, featuring original solo guitar compositions that weave together Spanish, Afro-Peruvian, Cuban, and West African musical influences.

Drawing from his Spanish ancestral roots while exploring intersections with Afro-Peruvian, Cuban, and West African musical traditions, Rodriguez presents eight contemplative pieces that function as musical reflections on memory, time, and place. His solo guitar evokes the circular patterns of the Mandinka kora, the earthy grooves of Afro-Peruvian landó, and the celebratory spirit of Cuban rumba guaguancó.

Renowned South African guitarist Derek Gripper praises the album: "In these recordings, Tomas Rodriguez navigates an intersection of global traditions with a compositional directness that is most delightful and charming to listen to.
