As autumn envelops the city in its colors, Argentine singer-songwriter and guitar virtuoso Cecilia Zabala comes to BKCGS and brings us her “hypnotic” South American voice, which transcends genres. Her show “Colors of the South” is a celebration of the rich musical heritage of Latin America, interpreted with sensitivity and virtuosity.

In each performance, Zabala fuses elements of Latin American folklore with contemporary influences, creating a unique soundscape that reflects both his roots and his innovative creativity.

An invitation to the audience to take a journey through diverse styles and rhythms, from milongas and tangos to zambas and chacareras. With compositions and arrangements they highlight the beauty and depth of the music of the south of the continent, while introducing personal and modern touches.

This show promises to be an intimate and moving experience, in which music serves as a cultural bridge, showcasing the universality of human emotions through melodies and rhythms that transcend borders. Martina Liviero (an Argentine singer-songwriter currently based in New York) will be the guest artist, and together they will reveal the richness of Argentina’s new music.
