What?

We would love to have you play a concert for our Brooklyn and NYC community. We host two types of concerts: ticketed events where the artist receives a flat fee and Groupmuse donation-based events where the artist receives 100% of the audience donations (online payments and cash). Read on for the specifics of each type of event.

Typically you’ll have time to warm-up, test the sound, and get comfortable in the space before the concert. You can choose whether or not to have an intermission, and we’ll allow time for a reception / socialization after the concert.

Where?

Our concerts take place at A4 Collective in Prospect Heights and Aikido of South Brooklyn in Cobble Hill. Check out the info below to learn more about the venues!

A4 Collective

636 Dean St #2F, Brooklyn, NY 11238

Aikido of South Brooklyn

205 Columbia St, Brooklyn, NY 11231

How?

A dimly lit room with two musicians performing on stage with guitars, viewed by an audience. The stage is lit, highlighting the performers, and there are exit signs visible on the walls.

We are able to offer a flat fee for a program or to set up your concert as a Groupmuse Concert with a $20 suggested donation.

Currently our flat fee for a program is $350. This is for a 45-minute to 1-hour program (with or without an intermission).  We will host the concert at one of the venues above and market the event via our newsletter and social media channels.

We have gear available for use like an acoustic amplifier, microphones, music stands, footstools, appropriate seating, etc.

Recording services for audio / video of the event are also available upon request.

If you choose to play a Groupmuse, donation-based concert with us, there will be no flat fee, but 100% audience donations go to the Artist.  Our events are usually at or near capacity, and range in size from 20-50 people. The suggested minimum donation is $20.

We’d highly recommend that you come to one of our open mics (2nd Thursday of every month) or other scheduled events to meet our community, play some music, and spread the word about your event.
